American Best IT's humanitarian response

From the outset of the flood crisis, American Best IT's leadership and team members worked around the clock to plan and execute a swift and effective humanitarian response. We focused on three key areas of support:

1. Emergency food relief

One of the most immediate needs during the flood was the availability of food. Floodwaters had destroyed homes and farmlands, leaving families without access to food and clean water. We responded by distributing food packages to over 750 families in some of the hardest-hit areas in Noakhali and Feni.

Each food package was designed to meet the essential nutritional needs of a family for a week and included:

Rice - 10kg
Lentil - 2kg
Chira - 1kg
Oil - 2 litres
Salt - 1kg
Sugar - 1kg
Spices
Milk Powder - 0.5kg
Baby Food - 0.5kg
Flour - 2kg
Onion - 1kg
Shemai - 1kg
Biscuits
Mosquito Coil
Candles
Medicines
Water

2. Medical assistance and health support

The floods caused serious health problems, along with damage to homes and land. Dirty water led to more cases of diseases like diarrhea, cholera, and skin infections. Many people were left without medical supplies, making things even worse. American Best IT responded by providing essential healthcare services, including medicine, first-aid supplies, and clean drinking water.
